With the money donated from your Trust Fund to the French Department, Miss Lorsery and Mrs Perriman bought a lovely display cabinet which students can show off their work, or photos of their trips to France... Dorothee has told me that some of the younger students have asked about you (your photos are at the top of the cabinet) and she takes time to explain to them... this I am so grateful for, and that the school has something that will be useful for many students as time goes on to show off their best work or the fun they've had on school trips. The Olive Tree plaque is another lasting memento, this time from the Rugby Supporters Association, with the touching inscription "The Heart and Soul of his Team". I like to think that maybe some students over the years to come might, with these reminders of you, wonder who you were, and perhaps take a little time to find out... I would love to hear from them...
